As a Senior Platform Engineer in our Build & Deploy team at StuDocu, you’ll be the driving force behind a seamless developer experience, empowering our team to deploy code to production 10+ times daily, reaching millions of students worldwide. Your mission is to build a platform that’s intuitive, robust, and blazingly fast, freeing developers to focus on creating impactful features without getting bogged down by infrastructure complexities.

Your typical day might kick off with fine-tuning a GitHub Actions pipeline based on direct developer feedback, then pivot to debugging a staging environment issue while keeping an eye on cost efficiency. You’ll thrive on constant collaboration, maintaining tight feedback loops with developers to ensure the platform evolves with their needs. By streamlining workflows and keeping releases smooth, you’ll help us scale smarter and faster!

What you’ll be doing here

• Collaborate closely with developers by listening to their input to build a platform that makes their jobs easier and helps them shine, keeping feedback loops tight to stay on the right track

• Team up with DevOps, product, and security teams to make sure our platform fits perfectly with goals to improve the development experience 10x and building bridges across teams

• Create and maintain a developer platform that lets devs push out features smoothly, powering 10+ daily deploys to millions of students worldwide

• Automate infrastructure and workflows with reliable, reproducible solutions to keep things running smoothly and save everyone time.

• Keep local and staging environments fast and dependable, making sure developers have a smooth experience from coding to testing

• Watch costs and keep things lean, ensuring our platform stays efficient without sacrificing speed or reliability.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience building automations for testing, deployments, and infrastructure, making life easier for developers with streamlined, reproducible workflows

• Experience with running deployments and workflows in GitHub Actions is a must

• Solid Python skills and hacking/scripting mentality

• Collaborating with other teams and mentoring other colleagues is essential for this role

• (Bonus) Familiarity with Terraform, Kubernetes and Jenkins is a huge plus
