We are expanding our 10 SCRUM teams (70+ back-end, front-end and full-stack developers) and are looking for a talented addition to our Groups team, who is a wizard with Typescript and has experience with modern React.

The Group's team mission is to allow students to connect and help each other, driving engagement and bringing new users to use study groups and our content. This is facilitated through a chat where users can connect with their course peers and share the best study materials with each other. You will be working with our designers and back-end developers to create responsive pages that provide Studocu’s users with the best possible experience. We are keen to join hands with someone whose hunger for technology is only matched by a motivation to solve difficult problems fast, efficiently, and with a keen eye for design.

What you'll be doing here:

• You will collaborate closely with your team which consists of an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, a Designer, a Data Scientist, a QA Engineer and other developers to come up with user-oriented solutions.

• You will be involved in the full development cycle from refinement, through implementation, to code review.

• You will be responsible for leading certain projects tied to our Objective Key Results and frontend migration projects of the team.

• You will work in two-week sprints, and participate in standups, refinements and retros.

• You will have the opportunity to share and apply your knowledge and expertise on technical topics while coaching other developers and presenting at our Learning & Development talks.

• Global impact. Our team engages with users from 194 countries. You will have the opportunity to work on projects that reach people all over the world.

• New tech. We are using the latest technologies (currently Typescript 5.X, React 18, NextJS 13) and updating the older ones whenever possible.

• Flexible setup. Your own workspace including the hardware of your choosing (Mac or Linux). We work in a hybrid mode where we want to see everybody at least twice a week in the office.

• Learning and Development. You will be constantly learning and have access to your own annual L&D budget for courses and/or certifications. Plus you can join our free Dutch classes!

This recruitment process:

3. Coding assignment to check your coding skills and practices.
4. Final technical interview that will be based on your solution of the coding assignment.
