Studocu was founded on the principle that equal access to study notes reduces inequality between students. Today, we make it easy for more than 50+ million students to share notes every month and use our cutting-edge AI learning tools to help them ace their study goals. The product was a rocket ship from day one and has shown strong product-market fit on every continent making us a key player in the exploding EdTech space and burgeoning AI Education space.
Our core business is our marketplace: Students upload their helpful study materials and other students consume that content. And we operate 100k+ marketplaces across the Globe in the form of Universities and now High Schools.
We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to come in and help manage our marketplace(s) at scale. If you thrive at the intersection of product, data, and operations; and know what it takes to scale and manage high-volume B2C marketplaces then this role is for you.
You'll work in tight partnership with the Product team and sit at the heart of the business. From managing marketplace health, launching growth experiments, to unearthing data insights that drive roadmap decisions; you’ll be our marketplace brain and engine.
What you’ll be doing here:
Marketplace Performance: Own key health metrics (content, traffic, revenue), diagnose inefficiencies, and work cross-functionally to drive improvements
Operational and Process Efficiency: Build a strong and healthy culture of operational excellence, velocity and cost efficiency
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, tech, marketing, and operations teams to implement initiatives to achieve business objectives.
Marketplace experimentation: Partner with Product and Data to design, run, and analyze A/B tests that improve marketplace dynamics and user experience.
Data Analysis: Conduct deep data analyses to identify the opportunities for growth in our business across all sides of the marketplace
Growth levers: Identify and launch new opportunities for growth and marketplace expansion on both supply (traffic) and demand (content)
At least 3 years of experience in a similar growth-focused role with demonstrable experience working with Tech and Product user-focused companies (ideally consumer facing marketplaces)
Strong business acumen with an adept understanding how product decisions impact the bottom line, and you proactively seek ways to unlock growth and efficiency across the business.
Strong analytical skills; you are fluent in SQL, comfortable exploring large datasets, and know how to translate data into narrative.
You embody the entrepreneurial mindset: you have a hands-on approach, you move fast and in an autonomous and resolute way, you are capable of building things from scratch, and most importantly: you never give up!
Exceptional cross-functional communicator; able to align stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and move initiatives forward in ambiguity.
Strategic thinker with bias for action as you can zoom out to shape direction but also thrive in the details
You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-changing conditions. You are used to working within cross-functional and diverse teams in a digital, fluid environment
Experience in similar EdTech B2C roles would be a plus
Why you’ll love it here:
