Studocu was founded on the principle that equal access to study notes reduces inequality between students. Today, we make it easy for more than 45+ million students to share notes every month and use cutting-edge AI learning tools (like Quizzes, AI Chat, and Ask-AI) to help them ace their study goals. The product was a rocket ship from day one and has shown strong product-market fit on every continent with enviable YoY growth, making us a key player in the exploding EdTech space.
Would you like to work on a platform that makes study materials accessible to 45+ million students around the world?
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our teams deliver great value for our business. You’ll bridge the gap between Tech and the business and grow your team members into the next step of their personal journey. As the sparring partner of your dedicated Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing a team that can deliver on our roadmaps and OKRs. You’ll also be working closely with our Principal Engineers to ensure we have a maintainable architecture and that we implement it consistently.
The Content Supply team is responsible for the constant stream of documents and study material from/to our website. Amongst other projects, they are working on innovations in processing handwritten notes, creating automated exams, ML to detect course relevance for students, different forms of content streaming, etc. The team is 6 FTE but looking to grow with 2-3 people in the next 12 months.
What you'll be doing here:
Being hands-on technically, coding and reviewing Pull Requests at times;
Finding solutions to personal and technical issues of your reports at all levels through mentoring, processes, technologies, or infrastructure;

Coaching and guiding Engineers, and getting them to develop themselves into more senior roles;
Hiring top talent from the market and building well-performing teams.
Why you'll love it here:
You’ll take over an amazing and hard-working team of 4 engineers. You will work with technical stakeholders who know what they are talking about and have deep knowledge of the domain;
You’ll be part of the IT management team, shaping the technical direction and processes of the IT department;
A free healthy lunch with our own chef and unhealthy snacks every day when in the office;
24 holidays based on 40 hours per week. We also provide a public transport card and contribute to your pension scheme;
