What you’ll be doing:
In the role as Engineering Manager Cloud and Infra team we are looking for a leader that is still technically (Heavily) involved. The team is a small cell with senior engineers, responsible for hosting the website (the core service of the company) on AWS with a 99.999% uptime dependency and strong focus on scalability and global efficiency (distributed set-up). In this position you will divide your time in: leading 3 direct reports in daily operations and growth, be the spokesperson for the Cloud team towards the MT and technical stakeholders, participate hands-on in architecture and engineering tasks, safeguard the roadmap and take responsibility for the platform performance (highly critical).

Job requirements

We are looking for:
- 7-10 years of experience as an engineer and architect;
- 1 year of experience as tech- or team lead and/or experience in being main responsible for business critical (cloud) platforms;
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Python, Databases, Observability;
- Experience with scale in/on web;
- Strong soft skills.


What our process looks like:

  • First, there is an screening call with our TA Partner to get to know you better;
  • If that goes well, you will have an interview with either the CTO or the EM on Cloud & Infra and Build & Deploy;
  • After that you'll make a assignment and perform a live system design interview;
  • The final step in the process is an interview with the CTO or the EM.
