At StuDocu, our mission is to empower everyone to excel at their studies by providing the best tools to study more efficiently. StuDocu is the world’s leading community for university students. Every month we help more than 15+ million university students to get smarter, faster. After rapid and profitable growth in the Netherlands (under the StudeerSnel.nl brand) we are now taking the rest of the world by storm fuelled by a further investment of 50 million USD.
Our healthy economic model has allowed us to grow into many different countries all across the world. To make sure we deliver an amazing product experience to our users, regardless of where they live, we want to expand our team with a UX Researcher. You will be given all the encouragement, trust and freedom to do the job you love and deliver user insights to steer our strategic and product decisions in the correct direction. Every day millions of students all over the world will reap the benefits of the platform your research helped to shape. Our Product and Design team is compact and powerful, so you can expect a reasonable number of jokes and feedback from your colleagues as of day one.
What you'll be doing:
Plan, assemble and analyse user behaviour through new studies, surveys, and prototypes, together with the review of existing data.
Perform competitors UX research, along with other websites.
Compile finished, well-documented research findings, delivering meaningful and actionable insights to feed design and teams.
Manage, execute and analyse usability sessions, with support from other team members.
Create a UX research road map that is aligned with company goals, running multiple streams of work simultaneously.
Help us to deeply understand the profile and needs of our customers.
Why you'll love it here:
*During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still interviewing and hiring, but all conversations will obviously be via video call! For now, StuDocu adopted a flexible remote-first policy, but we still require our 45+ employees to be located in or near Amsterdam in the Netherlands (we are supporting the relocation process). We encourage our employees to visit the office once every other week to build relationships and socialize while abiding by the safety rules. When it's safe again, you will be able to take full advantage of our bright office in the center of Amsterdam with canals, restaurants, and cafes right around the corner.
