What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead Studocu’s Payment Operations, everywhere in the world, with a strong emphasis on emerging markets;

  • Work together with Product and Tech to integrate new payment methods, particularly in emerging markets, from the negotiation with the PSPs to the actual testing and implementation;

  • Work together with Product and Tech to find the optimum price point and packaging structure in every market we operate in;

  • Build, scale and automate all the processes to optimize our payment conversion and collection rates, and reduce our chargeback and fraud rates, globally;

  • Build a strong and healthy culture of operational excellence, velocity and cost efficiency;

Job requirements

  • B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a similar field. A relevant M.Sc. (statistics, business, engineering, etc) is a plus; We also welcome other ways of life, as long as you studied a discipline you were passionate about, and kept on being an A+ student during your work life;

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with demonstrable experience working with Tech and Product at fast-growing, user-focused companies, with a global footprint and a large number of PSPs under management;

  • You embody the entrepreneurial mindset: you show a very hands-on approach, you move fast and in an autonomous and resolute way, you are capable of building things from scratch, and most importantly: you never give up!

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-changing conditions. You are used to working within cross-functional and diverse teams in a digital, fluid environment;

  • You’re a strategic, analytical thinker, and you can easily design, analyze and optimize operational processes in an agile and smart way.

  • Advanced SQL and Excel proficiency are required, and familiarity with other data tools, such as Mixpanel or Metabase, is a plus;

  • You are organized, very attentive to detail and independent while being a team player;

  • Prior experience with Adyen’s advanced optimizations techniques is a big plus;

  • A good understanding of techniques such as A/B testing or statistical analysis is a plus.

We are located in a beautiful city centre of Amsterdam. Modern-day commerce mixes with Amsterdam’s atmospheric old town in our cosy location that previously served as Woltjer Gymnasium.
