As our People Operations Specialist you will be responsible for the complete HR administrative process of the employee lifecycle for 100+ StuDocu employees. You will make sure new hires receive their contract on time, are onboarded smoothly and enrolled correctly. You will also support international hires with their relocation and ensure their transition to a new country is a pleasant one. This role is critical in driving forward the development and delivery of smooth and efficient HR operations. You will work closely with our VP People, Culture Lead, and Talent Acquisition Manager who are currently running HR administrative processes and who realised it’s time to hire someone who will be our go-to person for all HR administrative matters.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be responsible for a full range of administrative tasks throughout the employee life cycle, including issuing contracts and amendments, ad-hoc requests of employees and running scheduled reports.

  • You will actively support the People team in reducing administrative tasks via clearer processes and automation.

  • Responsible for preparing and sending employment agreements and their adjustments.

  • Supporting our onboarding/offboarding projects and tasks.

  • Preparation of monthly changes for our pension and payroll providers.

  • Support projects within our HRIS (BambooHR).

  • Owning our relocation processes for new joiners from all around the world (arranging HSM visas, flights, temporary accommodation and 30% ruling applications).

Job requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant HR Operations experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of Dutch labour rules and practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • At least Advanced Dutch language skills which allow you to work with official documents without problems.

  • Good organizational, stakeholder and time management skills.

  • High level of integrity and resilience.

  • Detail-oriented and proactive; someone who enjoys creating new best practices, curious about what works and keen to improve what doesn’t.

  • Bonus points for start-up or scale-up experience.
