Imagine this: It’s a Friday morning in the office. ☀️☕ After work, StuDocu is going to host an office party for the team to celebrate the success of last quarter’s OKRs. You’ve already coordinated the food options with Valentijn (our chef), informed the neighbours of possible loud noise, let the cleaners know there will be more mess than usual, made a complete itinerary for the evening, and communicated a message to the team to get them pumped. We’re all ready to get the party started! 💃
In the meantime, you complete a grocery order for the following week (based on a list from Valentijn), restock the beers in the fridge, tidy up the office, send two screens for repair, plan a repair with a plumber who only speaks Dutch, and set up the decorations for the party.

What you'll be doing:
Being the main point of contact for all things Facilities & Office.
Coordinate the StuDocu office’s administration and logistics to ensure an organized, clean, and safe working environment. 💻
Support the team by making sure they have what is needed for their home office setup.
Organizing internal events such as office outings, annual company trips 🏖️, sports activities, workshops, Friday drinks 🥂, etc.
Organize team gifts such as birthday cards, anniversary gifts, etc.
Assisting in the coordination of upcoming office expansion and remodelling projects.

*During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still interviewing and hiring, but all conversations will obviously be via video call! For now, StuDocu adopted a flexible remote-first policy, but we still require our 45+ employees to be located in or near Amsterdam in the Netherlands (we are supporting the relocation process). We encourage our employees to visit the office once every other week to build relationships and socialize while abiding by the safety rules. When it's safe again, you will be able to take full advantage of our bright office in the center of Amsterdam with canals, restaurants, and cafes right around the corner.
1-3 years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned tasks (additional hospitality experience is a plus).
Excellent communication skills in English and able to get things done in Dutch.
Available at least 32 hours per week.
