Every month we help more than 15+ million university students to get smarter, faster. After rapid and profitable growth in the Netherlands (under the StudeerSnel.nl brand) we are now taking the rest of the world by storm fuelled by a further investment of 50 million USD.


The mission of the Head of Operations for this new venture will be no less than building the future of StuDocu, from the ground up. Reporting to the COO and working hand in hand with your product counterpart, your objective is to globally scale a new product that has a proven product-market fit. From building a robust supply chain with partner companies to mastering our marketing plan, leveraging the tens of millions of StuDocu users, you will be responsible for a swift adoption of the product in every corner of the world. Additionally, while managing your quality, velocity, and owning your P&L, you will build a team of smart and driven people to support the growth of the product loved by millions of students! Responsibilities and Duties:

Turning the new venture into a huge success, which entails:

  • Building the supply chain with partner companies from the ground up.
  • Ensuring operational excellence with tight management of cost, quality, and velocity.
  • Owning marketing plan to ensure swift adoption of the product worldwide.
  • Building, developing and leading a team of smart and passionate people to support the growth of the product.
  • Owning P&L and investment plan for the growth of the product.

*During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still interviewing and hiring, but all conversations will obviously be via video call! For now, StuDocu adopted a flexible remote-first policy, but we still require our 45+ employees to be located in or near Amsterdam in the Netherlands (we are supporting the relocation process). We encourage our employees to visit the office once every other week to build relationships and socialize while abiding by the safety rules. When it's safe again, you will be able to take full advantage of our bright office in the centre of Amsterdam with canals, restaurants, and cafes right around the corner.


  • 7+ years of operations or business management experience: rapidly changing environment, start-up experience and P&L ownership are a big plus.
  • Past exposure to digital products and marketing strategies in a digital environment.
  • Effective project management - experience delivering multifaceted projects with many stakeholders while being a credible voice towards all areas of business.
  • Ability to drive work independently and take ownership of your scope with little to no guidance.
  • Experience leading a team, with a willingness to invest in coaching and development of your team members.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, always driven to improve the status quo.
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgement.
  • Ability to make smart partnerships happen, from negotiation to execution.
