After a rapid and profitable growth in the Netherlands (under the StudeerSnel.nl name) we are now taking the rest of the world by storm.
Our content and SEO driven growth strategy has led to multiple years of very strong traffic and revenue growth - and with 200 million university students across the globe, we still have lots of room for continued expansion. Many opportunities adjacent to our core business are yet to be explored, and we are looking for a Digital Entrepreneur, reporting to the CEO, to nurture long term innovation across the company.
Using your strong background in transforming ideas first into hacky MVPs “to prove the case”, you will work closely with the management team as well as the business and technology teams to shape how the company growth and monetisation streams look like from 2021 on-wards. You’re a strategic thinker with a very hands-on approach, you have experience with product and operations management and more importantly: you never give up!
In our Amsterdam office you will find the informal atmosphere you would expect from a start-up company. We are based in a nice and bright office in the heart of Amsterdam with a large garden, right beside the canals. Every day we all have lunch together and once a week we’ll crack open a few beers, bring out the table-tennis and football. With 30 people we are still a size where you will quickly get to know everybody.
What you’ll be doing:
Help shape the long term strategy of StuDocu.
Take an entrepreneurial no-nonsense approach to uncovering long term growth and monetisation opportunities across product, marketing, or operations.
Independently transform ideas into viable MVPs and execute on them.
Work with Product, Operations and Marketing teams for elevating your MVPs into new business units.

B.Sc. in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or similar field.
5+ years experience from business development, growth, product or operations related jobs at online consumer focused companies or equivalent work experience in Strategy Consulting, Operations Management, Engineering, Banking.
Broad experience in using data-insights for scaling up and supercharging a digital business with a creative approach.
Experience with product management or management of cross-functional programs in a digital environment.
Organised and independent working style with an ability to convert insights into actions.
Team-player with strong peer-influence skills able to be a credible voice towards all areas of the business. Not afraid to challenge opinions.
Expert user of Excel and data tools such as Mixpanel and Tableau.
SQL proficiency or experience with a scripting language is a plus.
Good understanding of techniques such as A/B testing, statistical analysis, and machine learning is a plus.
Knowledge of digital marketing techniques (in particular SEO) is a plus.
A relevant M.Sc. (statistics, business, engineering, etc) is a plus.
