As a data driven company, we are looking for an experienced data scientist to help us turn this data into improvements in our product and user experience.
As the Data Scientist will have big impact on the business and will be working directly with product managers, developers, growth hackers, content specialists and directly with our executive team. You will take full ownership of your work - from the initial idea to implementation of the final output. Your scope will be diverse - from search insights, content recommendations and personalisation, design of experiments, to the use of machine learning to better understand the content hosted on our platform.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Creatively and independently look for opportunities in data to optimise KPIs across the business.
Turn discoveries and ideas into machine learning models, using their output to create and improve products for our customers.
Take an entrepreneurial no-nonsense approach to uncovering new opportunities whether in product, marketing, or operations.
Lead the company’s selection and use of data tools, reports and insights.
Take the lead on establishing Data Science as a discipline at StuDocu
Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)
Experience in using data-insights for scaling up and supercharging a digital business with a creative approach.
Expert user of popular analytics tools such as Mixpanel and Tableau. Good understanding of techniques such as A/B testing, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
Experience with at least one scripting language, e.g. R, Octave, and one programming language, e.g. Python, Perl, C/C++, Java. Exposure to SQL and relational databases.
Creative and independent with the ability to communicate ideas and insights.
