Core Operations Lead Agent

  • Hybrid
    • Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands
  • Business & Operations

Job description

Studocu was founded on the principle that equal access to study notes reduces inequality between students. Today, we make it easy for more than 50+ million students to share notes every month and use our cutting-edge AI learning tools to help them ace their study goals. The product was a rocket ship from day one and has shown strong product-market fit on every continent making us a key player in the exploding EdTech space and burgeoning AI Education space.

We are looking for a fantastic new Lead Operations Agent to guide and grow with our team of 6 Operations Agents. In this role, you’ll be the "Player-Coach"—spending part of your time in the trenches ensuring our content is top-notch, and the other part empowering your teammates to do the same.

For us, "content is king." We’ve built a fool-proof operations practice around checking hundreds of reported documents and gathering data on the institutions and courses we want in our portfolio. As the Lead, you won't just follow the practice; you’ll help master it and mentor others to maintain our high standards.

If you are recently graduated living in The Randstad and looking to work full-time, hop on board our multinational company that likes to learn and have fun together!

Core Operations (The "Player" side)

  • Enhance the quality of user-submitted study materials globally, encompassing review, assessment, curation, content moderation, academic taxonomy curation, and supporting legal operations related to content.

  • Collaborate with Customer Support to facilitate clear communication with users, helping to maximize customer satisfaction and prevent misunderstandings.

  • Maintain an up-to-date, organized, and well-structured database of courses and institutions.

  • Provide support to the company’s strategic teams on various ad-hoc projects, such as conducting research on educational systems across different countries.

Team Leadership (The “Coach” side)

  • Manage the weekly roster for the agent team, ensuring optimal coverage and managing time-off requests.

  • Help coordinate ad-hoc projects—assigning tasks based on agent strengths and ensuring deadlines are respected.

  • Perform regular quality assurance to ensure high quality.

  • Act as the "knowledge hub" for the team. You’ll resolve complex cases, clarify ambiguous guidelines, and make the final call on tricky content decisions.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and 1-on-1s. You’ll help agents set goals, provide actionable feedback, and foster their professional growth.

Why you’ll love it here

  • Our office is located in a beautiful, bright space in the heart of Amsterdam by the canals on Keizersgracht. The atmosphere is vibrant, and our chef, Valentijn, prepares delicious lunches daily.

  • You’ll join a fun, young, diverse, and energetic international team of six Operations Agents.

  • We’re dedicated to making a positive impact and celebrating our successes. We have an annual company trip, biannual team outings, monthly themed Friday events, and regular learning and development sessions.

  • Free lunch, coffee, snacks, and Friday drinks when you’re in the office.

  • Access to a Learning and Development budget to support your growth.

  • Work at a mission-driven EdTech company improving learning access and outcomes for millions of students worldwide.

Job requirements

  • You are fluent in English, speaking and writing.

  • You can work full-time (40 hours/week)

  • You are available to start as soon as possible, with EU citizenship or a valid work permit, and you live in or around Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam, or Utrecht.

  • You are a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

  • You are methodical, organized, focused, and hardworking, with an ability to perform well under pressure.

  • You can work both independently and as part of a team.

  • You can lead a team with clarity and empathy, fostering collaboration, accountability, and autonomy.

  • You are tech-savvy and are very at ease working with Google Sheets or Excel.
