At StuDocu we believe in one thing: setting knowledge free will help humanity overcome its greatest challenges. StuDocu is the world’s leading community for university students. Every month we help more than 15 million university students to get smarter, faster. Being active in over 60 countries already and accelerated by a recent investment of 50 million USD, we are well on our way to completing our mission of supporting all higher education students around the globe!
Imagine something big happening in the world - let’s say: a pandemic. Because we care about our users, we want to know how something like this impacts students: how is it to study remotely all of a sudden, what effect does it have on their mental health, what kind of support do they need? Of course it can also be something lighter and more fun, like how to spend the upcoming spring break or how do students rank their universities. You decide - and make it happen!
As the Content Marketing Manager at StuDocu, you will always be ahead of the curve, spotting upcoming news angles. Coming up with topics that truly matter to Gen Z and formulating research questions that easily translate into headlines journalists would like to cover. You will be the one asking these questions to take the temperature of tens of thousands of StuDocu users around the world. After collecting the data, you will dig into it to analyse and find the stories behind it. This will boost your inspiration to write high quality, hyper relevant and super newsworthy content. Your insights of what’s important to Gen Z combined with your writing skills will make sure our stories get published - on our own channels, and far beyond.
What you'll be doing:
Creating content to be published on both owned and earned media: blog posts, (research) articles, interviews, and more!
Researching and digging the data that’s needed for this content.
Keeping our marketing calendar up-to-date to pick-up on holidays, events, special moments and actualities.
Managing our own channels, blog, newsletters, social media. This contains posting your own content, but also engaging with students by interacting with their utterances about StuDocu.
Monitoring and social listening: how are posts performing, what works well and what doesn’t, what are people saying about us.
Helping us guard our brand by making sure all content is in line with our brand guidelines.
